What happens after you call or write
The call or request reaches us and is passed to one local garage door company that covers your address. Someone from that company calls you back, within a few business hours for a request and faster for a door that will not close. They will ask what the door is doing, whether it is a single or double, and roughly how old it is, then book a visit. The price is given at the door, before any work starts.
What helps on the first call
None of this is required, but it makes the call shorter.

- Whether a car is trapped inside or the garage is stuck open

Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before a call connects. Florida requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded, and the announcement is how that consent is given. If you would rather not be recorded, hang up at that point and use the form instead; the reply comes back the same way.

Can someone come out today?
For a door stuck open or shut, often yes. It depends on the company’s schedule that day, and January and February are the busiest months of the year.
Do I need to be home?
For a repair, someone needs to let the technician into the garage. For a new door quote, the opening has to be measured, so the same applies.
